Performer Denies Anti-Vaxxer Position After Narrating Controversial Coronavirus Film

Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a recent film that questions the efficacy of immunizations and lauds ex- health official Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Foundation

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is based on a well-known publication published by a disgraced researcher, who became famous during the pandemic for assertions that the illness was linked to a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

The publication's collaborator, the executive producer, has also written books with controversial media personality Alex Jones. The producer recently posted praising Neeson's participation in the film.

A Strong Statement

The team of the actor have released a response strongly denying implications that he holds anti-vax sentiments.

"Many recognize that corruption can exist within the drug industry, but that should never be confused with being against vaccines," the comment states. "Neeson has never been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His long work with the UN children's agency reinforces his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

The statement noted that the star was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that concerns about its claims ought to go to the filmmakers.

Major Claims Within the Film

As presented, the narration provided by Neeson makes several provocative claims:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have demanded "complete compliance" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "science has become highly politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not adequately tested."
  • It also criticizes pandemic restrictions, saying they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of pandemic shots, it mentions a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Controversy and Current Disputes

The film further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.

Last month, the political figure directed the Centers for Disease Control to change its official position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is also referenced in the film, despite a new report from the World Health Organisation stating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Position of Endorsement

Differing from the documentary's narrative, Neeson has in the past voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his role as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

"Plague of Corruption" finishes with Neeson's voice saying, "This marks not the end of our journey. This is the dawn of a different phase."
