The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The influential industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
