In a wide-ranging interview, he explained to the podcast host: “I declared I will never coach another team on English soil. Which implies should it be the Reds...yes. In theory, it could happen.”

“No nostalgia for the changing area as a dressing room, but sitting in a restaurant alongside the squad enjoying conversation, that’s nice. We won a lot of games so there was often positive atmosphere at the club. I still have Virgil [Van Dijk’s] laugh vividly recalled to illustrate.”

Klopp was full of praise regarding Arne Slot, acknowledging his role for the adjustments that won the league in the previous season. They've been defeated four consecutive matches in all competitions post heavy investment, yet he dismissed the notion of it representing a slump.
